Description

The contractor shall perform services of packing, containerization, and local drayage of personal property. Shipments of household goods and unaccompanied baggage including preparation for shipment and storage. The contract will be 100% set-aside for small business concerns using Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 4783. This will be a negotiated acquisition using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPTO) and the evaluation criteria will be based on past performance and price with both factors being approximately equal. The resulting award will be Firm-Fixed-Price (Estimated Quantities). This solicitation will be posted electronically on the Electronic Posting Site (EPS) at www.eps.gov approximately 15 AUG 00. (NOTE: Absolutely no paper copies will be made available and no fax requests answered) The contract period will be a basic year with 4 option years not to exceed 5 years. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
