Description

The National Environmental Justice Advisory Council (NEJAC) will hold its Semi-Annual meeting in the Crystal City area on December 11 -14, 2000. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement for a total of 348 sleeping rooms for Council Members (71 rms on 12/10, 71 rms on 12/11, 62 rms, 12/12, 62 rms on 12/13, 62 rms on 12/14 and 20 rms on 12/15, plus the following rooms on December 11, 2000 -- Conference rooms for 15-20 people plus 20 perimeter seating (8 am -- 6 pm), Breakout room -- Conference seating for 40 plus 30 perimeter (3pm -6pm), December 10 -14, 2000 -- standard set-up, including 1 fax machine, 2 desktop computers, 3 printers, 1 white board (24 hour), December 11-14, 200 standards configuration. Conference table, 3 computer hookups and tables, 1 whiteboard, 1 flipchart (8 am -- 6 pm), December 11-14, 2000 standard configuration plus 1 table for public comment registration, 1 tv/vcr, 1 message board (24 hour), December 11-12 a Ballroom: U-shape for 32 people plus audience theatre style for 350 ppl, 16 table mics for NEJAC, 2 table mics for panel table, 1 hand held mic, 1 lapel mic, plus 1 overhead projector and screen, 1 slide projector, 1 flip chart, 1-2 handout tables in rear of room, 1 lcd projector (8am -- 11pm), December 13, 2000 -- 6 breakouts: Conference seating for 15-20/30, in each room: 1 slide projector and screen, 1 flip chart, 1 overhead projector (8am -- 5pm), 3 breakouts; Conference seating for 15-20/30 (8am -5pm).
