Description

This will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Type Contract to furnish all tools, equipment, personnel, supplies, fuel, maintenance, and supervision to perform various road construction and repair activities at and around Piney Woods Project, Lake O' The Pines, Wright Patman Lake and Jim Chapman Lake, Texas. Work includes preparation of raw subgrade, road shoulder repair, new base course, scarifying/shaping existing base course, one and two course surface treatment, hot mix asphalt concrete pavement, hot mix asphalt concrete pavement, bituminous tack and prime coat, pavement patching, sealing joints and cracks in pavement and traffic control marking. Actual work performed will be authorized by task orders issued independently to the contractor during the term of the contract. The Government intends to issue this solicitation and all amendments through the use of the Internet. No additional media (CD ROMS, Floppy Disks, Faxes, or paper) will be provided unless the Government determines that it is necessary. Contractors may view /download this solicitation and all amendments from the Internet after solicitation issuance at the following Internet address: "http://ebs.swf.usace.army.mil". All bidders are required to check the Fort Worth District Contracting Division website daily to be notified of any changes to this solicitation. Maximum amount of contract is $400,000.00 for the base period and each of the four option periods, for a total amount of $1,000,000.00. Solicitation to be issued on or about 19 October 2000. Bids will be opened on or about 28 November 2000. Duration of the contract is from the date of award through 365 days with four option periods of 365 days each. Bids from all qualified small business concerns are solicited. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 23411 and the size standard is $27.5 million per year.
