Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) plans to award a firm-fixed-price delivery order for the fabrication of fourteen ECP 1686 Communication/Navigation System Upgrade modification kits for AH-1W helicopters. NAVAIRSYSCOM plans to award the order to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., (BHTI), P.O. Box 482, Fort Worth, TX 76101-0482, the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AH-1W helicopter. Deliveries are expected to commence in October 2001 and conclude in February 2002. Any firms interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact BHTI directly. This procurement is being contracted on the basis of "other than full and open competition," and this synopsis is for informational purposes only. See Note 22.
