Description

This is a Market Survey to locate potential/additional sources for the following: Receiver-Transmitter, P/O AN/TPX-46, NSN: 5895-00-451-5853,for a potential quantify of 20 each with a 100% Option. A technical data package for the manufacture of this item (Drawing SM-D-587001)is available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate by writing to Commander, U.S. Army CECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-C-CM(L. Eugene), Fort Monmouth, New Jersey 07703-5000. The item is a 30 year old designed IFF item used on the old Hawk Missile System. The Technical Data Package has not been used to procure in 19 years. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order (if the supplier was a vendor to the previous source), or a statement from the previous source that the supplier can, in fact, supply the item that will physically and fuctionally interchange with the item from the previous supplier for this NSN. Successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactarily perform when used for the purpose intended by the Army. This notice is for planning purposes only, and shall not be construed as a Request for Quote (RFQ) or an obligation on the part of the Government to make any follow-on acquisition. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of responses to this notice or otherwise pay for the information solicited. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect cost or changes by the Government will arise as the result of submission or responses to this notice and Government use of this information.
