Description

Notice of Intent. The U.S. Customs Service intends to procure components and spare parts (fiberoptic bundles) to repair fiberscopes manufactured by Optim Inc. The scopes were manufactured using Optim's proprietary design, which are available only through Optim Inc. The requirement will be processed under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The intended source is Optim Inc., 64 Technology Park Road, Sturbridge, MA 01566. This notice of intent is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. See numbered Note 22.
