Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number is F7312301930100. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 9999. Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 _ Wash Rack Service Maintenance Agreement. Quantity: 1 Each. Period of Performance: 1 Oct 2000 -- 30 Sep 2001. See attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Premium Maintenance Checklist. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, does not apply to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation that will be most advantageous to the Government. Overall price (total aggregate amount) is the evaluation factor. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the FAR Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications_Commercial Item, with its offer. Quotes with an incomplete certification will not be considered for award. FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders_Commercial Items and Subparagraphs (b)(12), (b)(13), (b)(14), (b)(15), (b)(16), (b)(23), (b)(25), (c)(1), (c)(2) applies to this acquisition. The Commerce Business Daily Number Note 1 applies. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor who is not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
