Description

The U.S. Department of Energy intends to award a contract to Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL)to provide technical support in the areas of: material testing, field demonstration and testing of grout and sealing systems, engineered barriers design, modeling long-term behavior of waste forms, waste package design and performance modeling, integration of underground experimental programs with construction activities, system modeling and performance assessment, radionuclide migration, and gas migration and isotopic exchange.
