Description

The Department of Energy, Richland Operations Office (RL), Office Procurement Services, intends to award a simplified acquisition on a sole source basis to Procurement Automation Institute (PAI) , 2100 Washington Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22204. The proposed simplified acquisition is for maintenance services for "Intelligent Procurement (IPRO)" software, developed by PAI, and purchased by RL under a competitive instrument. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, RL intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. No solicitation will be issued. It is anticipated that award of this requirement shall be on or about September 28, 2000.
