Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas anticipates issuing solicitation RFQ 50907-015 for burial services for deceased male inmates at the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The services shall normally include embalming, preparation, and shipment of the deceased and shall be in strict accordance with the contract and Bureau of Prisons policy. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price requirements type contract with a base period from date of award through twelve months and four one year option periods, if exercised. Solicitations must be requested, in writing, from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, SCRO, 4211 Cedar Springs Rd., Ste 300, Dallas, Texas 75219, Attn: Brigette Powers or a written request can be faxed to (214) 224-3362. It is anticipated that solicitations will be available on, or about October 17, 2000, with an anticipated date for receipt of quotes on or about November 21, 2000. There will be a limited number of solicitations available, therefore, they will be disributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
