Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and this is the combined written solicitation. Solicitation F01600-00-T-0004 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This is a small business set aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46. The SIC is 7382 and the small business size is $9 million. Contractor shall provide on site inspections and maintenance, to include call-back repair on existing security systems installed in several buildings on Maxwell AFB and Gunter Annex, Alabama. Contractor shall provide pricing for one year, from 1 January 2001 through 30 September 2001 and to provide for 4 option years of 1 October through 30 September. There will be a Site Visit at 0900 on 12 October 2000. This is contingent upon FY01 Funding. See attached solicitation. CHANGES ARE AS FOLLOWS: 1) The base year has changed to start performance on Dec 01,2000, so that needs to be included in the base year bid. See new solicitation. 2) The response date is changed to 17 October 2000. 3) The site visit is changed to 5 October 2000.
