Description

The U.S. Customs Service intends to issue a contract to Kleepsie Tank and Petroleum Equipment for a 5,000 gallon 1999 Freightliner aviation fuel truck. No solicitation is available. This proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, proposals, or letters of interest, received after the date of publication of this action will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The time frame in Numbered Note 22 does not apply to this commercial item acquisition.
