Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in his notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. The solicitation document and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The following items are to be procured on a firm fixed price contract. Desired delivery schedule is 30 days following contract award. The contract line items numbers and descriptions are: Item 0001: Qty 5 each TSI Portacount Respirator Fit Tester (Part #8020A). Item 0002: Qty 5 each MSA Advantage 200 Adapter (Part #8025-10). Item 0003: Qty 5 each MSA Advantage 1000 Adapter (Part #8025-14). Item 0004: Qty 5 each Interspiro SCBA Mask Adapter (Part #8025-21). Item 0005 Training for ATF Personnel. Shipping shall be FOB Destination to Washington, DC 20226. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: (a) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, (b) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, (c) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, The provision at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Evaluation factors are (1) Technical Quality (2) Past performance (3) Price. Award will be made to the offeror that provides the best value to the Government. Award will be made on an all or none basis. Offers shall be submitted to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, 650 Massachusetts Ave, Room 3290, Washington, DC 20226 no later than September 29, 2000, 3PM (Washington, DC local time).
