Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in his notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. No RFQ will be prepared or made available for distribution. The solicitation document and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The following items are to be procured on a firm fixed price contract, desired delivery schedule is 30 days following contract award. The contract line items numbers and descriptions are: Item 0001: Qty 48 each Interspiro Spiromatic HP SAR, #20-000-24 NFPA Approved SCBA. Item 0002: Qty 64 each Cylinder Carbon Fiber, #336-890-498. Item 0003: Qty 32 each Cylinder Carbon Fiber, #336-890-496. Item 0004: Qty 48 each Savox 400 with cable to Saber. Item 0005: Qty 5 each Savox 400 Motorola Adapter NTN5213C. Item 0006: Qty 48 each Hard sided cases, #95814 (10). Item 0007: Qty 16 each Grace NFPA Pass Devices. Item 0008: Qty 5 each SCBA masks w/by pass & breathing valve, #55081.01. Item 0009: Qty 4 each S-Fit Test Adapters, #95991. Item 0010 Interspiro Trell Suit, Limited use, NFPA Approved w/flash over cover, #336-890-TLU Qty 6 Medium, Qty 10 Large, QTY 10 X-large and Qty 6 XX-large. Item 0011: Qty 5 each Interspiro Trell Test Kit, #487090077. Item 0012: Qty 5 each Suit Inflation System, #487090080. Item 0013: Qty 32 each Cuffing Ring Tool, #487010260 (5). Item 0014: Qty 68 each Elastic Seals, Spare, #47840. Item 0015: Qty 4 each Spare parts Kits. Item 0016: Trade-in for 10 used Spiromatic units, 25 cylinders & 5 Savox 200. Item 0017: To include training at NRT Conferences in November & December 2000. Shipping shall be FOB Destination to Washington, DC 20226. The following provisions are applicable to this acquisition: (a) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, (b) FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, (c) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, The provision at FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Evaluation factors are (1) Technical Quality (2) Past performance (3) Price. Award will be made to the offeror that provides the best value to the Government. Award will be made on an all or none basis. Offers shall be submitted to Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, 650 Massachusetts Ave, Room 3290, Washington, DC 20226 no later than September 29, 2000, 3PM (Washington, DC local time).
