Description

70 -- SPAWAR SYSTEMS CENTER, CHARLESTON, National Capital Region, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC, intends to award a contract to Vermont Systems, Inc. on a sole-source basis. The US Army Community and Family Support Center (USACFSC) requires the requested hardware and software for media flexibility, manageability, and economy in establishing their new Army School Age and Teen (ASA&T) program across the country and around the world. This hardware and software will ensure compatibility with the existing and future educational products and create continuity among the Army's educational forces around the world. All responsible sources may submit written responses containing sufficient technical documentation to establish capability to meet the requirement. All responses must be received in writing within 2 calendar days of publication of this notice. Quotes may be faxed or in writing to address specified above to the attention of the Contract Specialist. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT) portion of the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA). If no affirmative responses are received demonstrating that technically acceptable expertise is available from another source at a lower price, a contract will be awarded to Vermont Systems, Inc. without further notice.
