See notes: 9, 13, and 26. This PR is for Body Armor, Small Arms Protective Insert. This will be and Indefinite Quantity Type Contract with 4 Term Year Options. The items and quantities are listed as follows: NSN: 8470-01-465-1181, Size Extra Small (XS) [Base Qty 542 Min/1725 Max]; [Options 1 through 4, 850 Min/1725 Max]; NSN: 8470-01-465-1184, Size Small (S) [Base Qty 1084 Min/3450 Max]; [Options 1-4, 1700 Min/3450 Max]; NSN: 8470-01-465-1187, Size Medium (M) [Base Qty 2168 Min/6900 Max]; [Options 1-4 3400 Min/6900 Max]; NSN: 8470-01-465-1188, Size Large (L) [Base Qty 4336 Min/13800 Max]; [Options 1-4 6800 Min/13800 Max]; NSN: 8470-01-465-1189 Size Extra Large (XL),[Base Qty 2710 Min/8625 Max]; [Options 1-4 4250 Min/8625 Max]. Base total quantities are 10,840 Min/34500 Max. Each term option total quantity is 17,000 Min/34500 Max. Purchase Description Number CO/PD0003 (not yet finalized). Deliveries will commence beginning 180 days after date of award. Various delivery destinations will require Direct Vendor Deliveries (DVDs). This request for proposal will be unrestricted. Some Depot deliveries may be required. Trade Off Procedures will be utilized with the following factors in descending order of importance: 1)Experience/Past Performance 2) Manufacturing Plan to include: A) Manufacturing Procedures B) Production Schedule C) Materials and Production Equipment; 3) Socioeconomic Proposal; 4) DLA Mentoring Business Agreements Programs (MBA) and 5) Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act Entity Proposal. An expanded First Article will be required after award. All materials used are to be furnished by the successful offeror(s).
