- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), NOAA, intends to acquire preventative maintenance for uninterruptible power system (UPS) for the National Weather Service. The contractor shall replace Government furnished batteries, disposal of old batteries, and perform preventative maintenance for UPS at the following locations: Cheyenne, WY; Pueblo, CO; Valley, NE; Sioux Falls, SD; Davenport, IA; Lincoln, IL; Springfield, MO; Aberdeen, SD; Bismarck, ND; Duluth, ND; Grand Junction, CO; North Platte, NE; Gaylord, MI; Grand Rapids, MI; LaCrosse, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Wichita, KS; Louisville, KY; Chanhassen, MN; Paducah, KY; Riverton, WY; Rapid City, ND. UPS's consist of three types of units as follows: 1. Siemen C series (20 UPS's), 2. Siemen S Series (4 UPS's), 3. General Powers V-45 (1 UPS). The contractor will be responsible for providing services in accordance with a statement of work, Government Terms and Conditions and U.S. Department of Labor Wage Determination for each area. All will be provided with the Request for Quotation (RFQ). An RFQ will be issued on or about October 10, 2000. Firms interested in receiving a copy of the RFQ shall submit a request in writing to the attention of Jackie Shewmaker at the address listed above. Please reference RFQ number NWWR0000100000JAS. Fax requests will be accepted at (816) 426-7530. Request must be submitted within fifteen (15) days of publication of this announcement. This purchase will be made under the guidelines of FAR, part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business.
