Description

Anniston Army Depot intends to award a sole source contract to Cincinnati Gilbert Machine Tool Company, L.L.C., 3366 Beekman Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45223-2424 to perform all tasks necessary to repair and maintain including an annual inspection/alignment for Government owned Cincinnati Gilbert Horizontal Boring Mills located at the Anniston Army Depot. The Cincinnati Gilbert Tool Company, L.L.C. maintains proprietary rights to all drawings and technical data required for servicing and maintaining the boring machines. This requirement will be negotiated with only one source under the Statutory Authority 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Service to be performed at the Anniston Army Depot (ANAD), Anniston, AL 36201-4199. This contract will include a base year and four (4) option years. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a) (7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Offer/Quotes must be submitted electronically as indicated in the solicitation. Estimated issue date is 25 October 2000. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
