Description

The VA Network Business Center seeks Request for Quotation for a Firm Fixed Price service contract (Commercial Item FAR Part 12) sole source contract with Liquitech Inc., Willowbrook, Ill 60521 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. Liquitech is the manufacturer of the following flow cells. Liquitech is to provide upgrade and conversion of four (4) Model XLTF58-64flow cells into one Model QLTF58-6/4, and four (4) XLTF5-6/4 flow cells into Model QLTF-6/4. Convert all flow cells to liquitech quick connect clamps. Convert all control units to new liquidator electronic control units. Replace three XLTC5 controllers with three XLT5 (S500) liquidator series controllers. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intents to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
