Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) has a requirement to provide routine and emergency maintenance/repair of the NWS-owned NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) system within the State of South Dakota. The contract will consist of a base period and four (4) twelve (12)-month option periods. The base period is for the period of January 1, 2001 thru September 30, 2001. The options thereafter will be from October 1 thru September 30 for each of the remaining four (4) option periods ending September 30, 2005. The NWS system is a broadcasting network consisting of transmission lines, transmitters, and antennas located at fourteen (14) sites within the State of South Dakota. The contractor will be required to provide maintenance services as needed, vault and tower space, control links, utilities, tools and test equipment, transportation and per diem to maintain the NWR System.
