Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex proposes to contract, on a sole source basis, with Alfa-Laval Separation, Inc., the original equipment manufacturer, to furnish a technical representative to remove, open/inspect, furnish report/perform a Class B overhaul/install and test one (1) JP-5 Purifier Assembly. Place of Performance shall be at the contractor's facility and on-site at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Performance shall begin with removal of the Purifier Assembly on 01 March 2001 and all services, including installation upon completion of services, shall be completed no later than 01 June 2001. This requirement will be solicited on a sole source basis and under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Response date for the submission of quotations will be established in the solicitation. Requests for solicitation packages will be accepted via mail and E-mail only.
