Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR 13 and the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), DAKF61-00-Q-0095 and is due by COB 23 October 2000. This RFQ is set aside 100% for small business, the SIC code is W035, and the small business size standard is 750 employees. A fixed price contract is anticipated with one line item. CLIN 0001 Rent 3 articulating end loaders with cab, heater, and defrost for snow removal. Required for the period 1 Nov 00 to 31 Mar 01. 1 Lump Sum @ $_____________._____. Lease requirements: 1. All three loaders to have a four(4) yard bucket. 2. Vendor will respond for breakdowns with 24 hours of notification from the procurement office. NOTE: Roads foreman may contact vendor for emergency repairs during non-duty hours such as weekends, and/or holidays. 3. Vendor will give a class on the operation of equipment to select group of employees, not to be over four(4) people, if requested. 4. Vendor will be responsible for all scheduled maintenance, repair parts, labor, and replacement of cutting edges. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered.
