Description

The VA Medical Center, Denver, Colorado desires to lease approximately 2,001 square feet of rentable space in Boulder, Colorado for use as a Veteran's Center. The space must be on no more than one floor, and be provided by new construction or modification of existing space. VA requires a minimum of seven (7) parking spaces for its exclusive use, on-site or within 50 -- 75 feet from the main entrance of the building. Three to four of these spaces must be handicapped accessible and immediately adjacent to the facility's main entrance. A lease for up to ten (10) years will be considered. The current lease will expire on December 31, 2000. VA is conducting a competitive procurement for alternative space and will relocate if advantageous to the Government. The cost of moving, alterations, and other factors will be considered when determining whether or not to relocate. DELINEATED AREA: Space within the following delineated area will be considered: Begin at 21st and Pearl Street, and within a twenty (20) miles radius in any direction. OCCUPANCY: By January 1, 2001 A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA.
