This Solicitation was previously posted on June 29, 2000 and August 31, 2000. THE SOLICITATION PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROVIDE FREE OF CHARGE ON A CD-ROM. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVIDED IN A PRINTED PAPER HARD COPY FORM, FOR A FEE OF $70.00, FOR THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. Additional copies of the "Specifications [only]" can be purchased for an additional $40.00 each; and additional copies of the "Plans [only]" can be purchased for an additional $30.00 each. CHECKS SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO "FAO USAED-WILMINGTON" AND SHOULD BE MAILED TO: "USACE-WILMINGTON, ATTN: JOHN B. ROBERTS, P.O. BOX 1890, WILMINGTON, NC 28402-1890. The revised solicitation issue date is, on or about, October 16, 2000; and the revised receipt of proposal date is: November 15, 2000. REHABILITATION JOHN H. KERR POWERHOUSE BRIDGE CRANE, BOYDTON, VA. 1. The Scope of Work includes rehabilitation of existing 225 ton Bridge Crane at John H. Kerr Powerhouse, Boydton, VA. Services include: Cleaning; Inspecting; Evaluation and Testing of: Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural Components; and Controls, for replacement and/or refurbishment as needed. Work may also include some Lead Paint and Asbestos Abatement. Magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000. and $5,000,000. Selection will be based on factors in the following areas, as listed in the solicitation documents: Contractor's / Manufacture's Experience; Past Performance, including Safety; Quality Control Personnel's Experience; Management [Gantt Chart of Work]; and Sub-Contracting Plan, if a Large Business. 2. AVAILABILITY AND CHARGE: THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVIDED IN A PRINTED PAPER HARD COPY FORM, FOR A FEE OF $70.00, FOR THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
