Description

The U. S. Customs Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with TransDigm Incorporated of Richmond Heights, Ohio to procure rotary liquid coolant pumps to support the P-3 AEW aircraft upgrade program. These pumps will be provided as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to the prime contractor and integrated with the upgraded AN/APS-145 AEW radar system to achieve a common avionics configuration baseline as previously established by AEW #7 & #8. This effort will include technical support services, data and additional system spares. This contract action is subject to the availability of funds. See Note 22.
