Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition is set aside for 100% small businesses;SIC:3715, number of employees: 500. A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation. This is a sole brand name requirement due to certification needs. Items must meet or exceed all functions and specifications of the specified Wells Cargo item. FOB: Destination to Little Rock AFB, AR. Required delivery is 12 weeks or sooner after receipt of award. Statement of Requirement: WELLS CARGO CW-122 MODIFIED TRAILER 2ea. Wells Cargo CW-122 Cargo Wagons with modifications as specified in the attached documents. Quotes may be faxed to (501) 987-8119, ATTN: 2D LT STEVEN HOWARD, or sent to 314 CONS/LGCA, 642 THOMAS AVE, LITTLE ROCK AFB AR 72099, at or before 12:00 p.m. c.s.t. 30 Sept 2000. Offers will be evaluated on technical merit as well as best value to the government. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and registration must be current prior to receiving any award. CCR can be obtained through the Internet at www.ccr2000.com. CONTRACT CLAUSES: All Provisions and Clauses may be viewed from the Internet site http://www/ARNet.gov/far. Successful offeror shall also be required to submit a completed copy of the provisions at FAR Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Feb 2000) prior to award. Commercial Clauses FAR 52-212-4 and 5 will be used in the award.
