Description

This is a modification to a previous announcement to correct an URL address. The announcement is repeated here for convenience. The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development is soliciting proposals from organizations who are classified as small businesses under SIC 541990. These organizations will serve as a data-coordinating center for a study of "Bone Mineral Density in Childhood." The center will supervise and manage the collection and interpretation of data gathered at four clinical centers. The proposals for the clinical centers are being solicited in a separate RFP, which can be found on the NICHD Home Page listed below. The data-coordinating center will assure the standardization of all data collection and perform on-going data management and entry. Those small businesses that believe they have the necessary qualifications to perform the duties of data-coordinating center should review the RFP NICHD-2000-17, which can be found at: http://www.nichd.nih.gov/oam_cmb/. The NICHD does not intend to release hard copies of the RFP. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be December 11, 2000.
