Description

Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, VA 23511, ALLEGANY BALLISTICS LABORATORY, ALLIANT TECHSYSTEMS, ROCKET CENTER, WV. The project involves construction of a new metal building -- Building 457. The work consists of miscellaneous site, site utilities, earthwork, concrete spread and strip foundations, concrete masonry unit perimeter foundation walls, concrete slab on grade, miscellaneous concrete, structural steel superstructure, batt insulation with metal siding sidewalls, structural standing seam roof with batt insulation, personnel and roll-up doors, electrical power and lighting, and incidental related work. West Virginia Contractors License must be submitted prior to commencement of work by Contractor and all subcontractors. A Mandatory Pre-Bid on-site will be held. The anticipated project duration is 120 days. Estimated cost is in the range of $100,000 to $250,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about October 30, 2000.
