Description

The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supplies, and equipment, and perform all work necessary to pump and clean concrete vault latrine, an underground storage tank, and mud and scum pits at Fort Riley, Kansas. All sediment and residue pumped from the vault latrines and the underground storage tank shall be deposited into a sanitary sewer manhole located near the Custer Hill Sewage Treatment Plant. All other debris removed from the vault latrines, except ammunition, that cannot be handled by the pumping truck shall be hauled off-post and disposed of at a sanitary landfill approved by KDHE and the Contracting Officer for this type of debris. The invitation for bid will be issued on or about 5 December 2000 with a bid opening on or about 23 January 2001. The proposed procurement is a 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Offers from other than small business concerns are not solicited. The small business size for this procurement is $5.0M and the SIC code is 7699.
