Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) intends to award a contract to Lockheed Martin Information Systems (LMIS), Falls Church, VA for the continued development of the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) software. The contract will also provide for NSIPS maintenance, training, and engineering/test support. The period of performance of the basic contract will be approximately six months, with options for approximately an additional 18 months. The total amount of the contract, including options, will be approximately $30M. This will be awarded on a fixed-price basis. The proposed contract will be negotiated on a sole source basis with LMIS under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1) . The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this procurement is 8711. See Note 22.
