Description

The U.S Customs Service intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with L3 Randtron Antenna Systems, Menlo Park, California to procure satellite communication antenna kits for the P-3 AEW aircraft upgrade program. These antenna kits will be supplied by Customs as Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) to the prime contractor and integrated with updated satellite communications equipment and an early warning radar rotodome antenna to achieve a common avionics configuration baseline as previously established by the most recent USCS configuration (P-3 AEW #7 and #8). This contract will require the contractor to provide technical data, manuals and additional system spares. This contract action is subject to the availability of funds. See Note 22.
