Description

The USDA FOREST SERVICE intends to award a sealed bid contract for roof retrofit and replacement at our Warren, PA lab of approx. 4359 square feet of existing flat roof system to a pitched roof system using prefabricated wood trusses, including tie-in to the pitch roof system (1995 retrofit). Work also includes replacing an existing ballasted, 'epdm' single ply membrance roof system estimated at 3300 square feet, with a 'TPO' mechanically fastened roof system completed as per approved mnfr. requirements and the contract design documents. Solicitation is expected to be issued by October 20,2000; however if this date slips the RFP will be due 30 days from date the sol. is issued. SIC 1761. Bonding/Irrevocable Letter of credit is required for all bids over $25,000. Estimated prices range is $25,000 -- $100,000.
