Description

The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ intends to negotiate and award a contract to Maxwell Physics International, 2700 Merced Street, San Leandro, CA 94577-0599 on a sole source basis. The contract is for purchase of 2 each Refurbished 1MV X-Ray Pulsars and 1 job to Convert an existing 600KV Pulsar to a 1MV Pulsar. Maxwell is the original equipment manufacturer of the pulsar system currently existing at the USAYPG. The additional equipment is required to expand the current system capabilities and must be compatible with the existing system. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. This information shall be submitted via e-mail to the address listed within this solicitation or via facsimile to 520-328-6849. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the response date specified within this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
