Description

Operation Support Command is conducting a market survey to identify potential SMALL BUSINESS sources interested in manufacturing 7,582 each Flare Kit Dispenser. This kit consists of three main components. These components are as follows: Arming Cap (2 each per kit), Sealing Rings (4 each per kit), and Spacer (2 each per kit). There is a sealing ring placed on each end of the LUU flare. On the top of the flare is a timer knob that has to be pulled off to activate the timer. To do this, an Arming Cap is placed onthe timer end of the flare. The Arming Cap has a short piece of wire with a loop on the end that connects to the timer knob. The two spacers are connected to form a spacer with an "X" cross section.
