Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue the referenced solicitation for engineering technical, logistics, and systems analysis support for the Surface Ship Maintenance Improvement Program (SSMIP). The solicitation will provide services necessary to support the Naval Sea Systems Command Surface Ship Maintenance Division Programs that develop, implement, assess, and modify improvements in the processes of surface ship maintenance. This procurement will be awarded on an unrestricted full and open competition basis. The level of effort required for the base year is approximately 399,800 man-hours, with 4 (four) one-year options of 420,150 hours, 440,788 hours, 462,847 hours, and 485,964 hours, respectively. The solicitation will be electronically released on the NAVSEA Contracts Directorate homepage (http://www.contracts.hq.navsea.navy.mil) in early November 2000.
