Commodity(ies): Freight All Kinds and Crated Household Goods and Unaccompanied Baggage/DPM Shipments (DOD Univque Codes 999916 and 999906),Less-than-Truckload Van Shipments,estimated weight 7 million pounds, carriers will be required to provide closed vans, 27-foot or greater in length. Origins: Northern California military installations (Beale Air Force Base (AFB), CA commercial warehouses located within a 50 mile radius of Beale AFB, CA; California Air national Guard, Moffett Federal Airfield, California; Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California; Presidio of Monterey, Presidion of Monterey Annex, California; and commercial warehouse located at Sand City, California and California Air National Guard, Fresno, California to Various points in contiguous United States. Bids must arrive at the above address by 2 p.m., e.t. on November 15, 2000, and an opening will be held on November 16, 2000, starting at 9 a.m., e.t. at the above address.
