Description

Under the authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153 Expanded Sharing Authority and in accordance with FAR, Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, the Louis Stokes Cleveland, Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio, intends to procure grounds maintenance services. The Contractor shall provide the supplies/services to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Louis Stokes Cleveland, Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VA) located at 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio 44141 and 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141. Services are required for a base year and four (4) one-year pre-priced option periods. The Contractor shall provide on an as-needed basis the following: one (1) aerification (coring type); three (3) granular grub control applications, and two (2) liquid broadleaf post-emergent herbicide applications. The Contractor shall provide services between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 3:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Federal holidays include New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and any other day specifically designated by the President of the United States. This acquisition is 100% Small Business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System code is 561730 and the size standard is $5.0 million dollars.
