Description

The 42d Contracting Squadron intends to issue sole source procurement to PeopleSoft Inc. to provide maintenance, upgrades and/or enhancements to their student administration software license. The sole source procurement is IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other type of supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. This is a notice of intent and not a request for quotation. No solicitation is available. Businesses that recognize and can provide the required service described above must provide supporting evidence. The Government will consider all responses received within ten days of the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. DFAR Clause 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractors Registration, mandates awards only be made to those offerors that are successfully registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The period of performance is for a basic year, 4 Nov 00 through 3 Nov 01, with four-one year options.
