Description

17. Provide all material, labor, and equipment necessary to paint interior and repair floors in various quarters in housing areas at Fort Bliss, Texas, in accordance with specifications and drawings. This requirement is 100% set-aside for 8(a) firms whose business plan is being serviced by the El Paso District Office only. In order to be considered eligible to compete, 8(a) contractors must have Standard Industrial Classification Code 1521 approved and listed in their portfolio with the EL Paso District Office. Please make arrangements to attend a site visit, date to be announced in solicitation. This procurement will be a firm-fixed type indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base year and four option years. The magnitude of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Offerors must respond to the solicitation in writing. Each Offeror must submit a proposal in response to the solicitaion and include technical information and cost data. Anticipated award date is on or before December 29, 2000. Requests for solicitation must be made in writing and be accompanied by a non-refundable certified check or money order (no company or personal checks) in the amount of $20.00 and made out to the Centralized Disbursing Officer. All eligible 8(a) firms are encouraged to request a copy as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the rquirement for the Section 8(a) Program. *****
