PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. Furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to modify existing JP-5 fuel system at the U. S. Coast Guard Group, Key West, Florida. The work includes the following: (a) Modifying existing JP-5 fuel system and compressed air piping Pier D-2, (b) Replacing aboveground and underground fuel piping, (c) Connecting piping and electrical to existing fuel dispensers, and (d) Providing emergency electrical disconnect switch and pump control stations, and (e) Providing compressed air piping and outlets. There is no charge for the bid package. This is a full and open acquisition, open to large, small, small disadvantaged, and woman-owned small business concerns. All bid requests must be submitted in writing. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The performance period is 90 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 22493. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipts of $27.5 million Bid guarantee, payment, and performance bonds are required. . ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts.
