Description

The Federal Correctional Institution, Sheridan, Oregon, is soliciting for Tea, Beverage Bases (Fruit Drinks), and Dispensing Equipment for the food service operation at the institution, camp, and detention center. The Government contemplates award of a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery (requirements) contract resulting from this solicitation. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. Transportation of all products/services is F.O.B. Destination. The equipment for this system will be provided by the contractor which will supply beverage bases and tea for consumption. The dispensing machines must contain three (3) dispensing valves for fruit drinks and tea. At a minimum, the following dispensing units are required: two (2) dispensing units at the institution, one (1) dispensing unit at the camp, and two (2) dispensing units at the detention center. The dispensing equipment will be post-mix type, capable of dispensing sugar-free or sugar-added drink, with a minimum refrigeration capacity of three (3) five-ounce product servings per minute at 45 degrees. Estimated product requirements for the one-year period are as follows: Fruit drink (five flavors), Bag-in-Box (BIB), 5 GL/CS, Qty 1,400 CS; Tea, Iced, Sweetened (no saccharin), BIB, 5 GL/CS, Qty 600 CS; and Tea, Iced, Un-sweetened, BIB, 5 Gl/CS, Qty 200 CS. All fruit drinks to be 8:1 mixture and teas 11:1 mixture. Bidders will be required to issue product information on beverage bases and equipment offered prior to award.
