SUBJECT: NON-STOCKPILE SYSTEMS CONTRACT POC Contact: Contract Specialist, Kevan Woodin, 309-782-3961; Contracting Officer, James Loehrl, 309-782-7161. DESC: This notice modifies the synopsis for Solicitation DAAA09-99-R-0090. The initial synopsis was posted to the CBDNet on September 19, 2000 and was printed in the CBD on September 21, 2000. Due to administrative delay, the release of the RFP will be moved back one (1) week. Accordingly, the solicitation will be issued, via the Internet, on 27 Oct 2000. The proposal preparation period of this solicitation will be ninety (90) days from the issuance date; all comments and/or questions shall be submitted, within thirty (30) days from the issuance date, in writing or by E-mail to the address contained in the solicitation. Proposals are now due on 26 Jan 2001, by 1600CST, and will be governed by the terms and conditions contained in the FAR provision 52.215-1, Instructions of Offerors Competitive Acquisitions. The government will provide answers to any industry's comments and/or questions and/or amendments to the solicitation via the same electronic means. It is still anticipated that a pre-proposal conference will be held, at the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground, in the early part of November 2000. Full details for the pre-proposal conference will be contained in the solicitation.
