- Description
- R -- RECORDS MANAGEMENT SUPPORT SERVICES -- The Department of Justice Civil Division requires the continuation of contract support for records management. The work of the contractor will involve eight (8) individual, but often interrelated, functions: (1) Operation of the Division's Records Management Unit (RMU); (2) Operation of the Divisions's Active Records Units (ARUs); (3) Operation of the Case Closing Unit; (4) Support for foreign judicial assistance; (5) Support for records and case management in the Division's New York field offices; (6) Preparation of procedures manuals; (7) Preparation of Reports; and, (8) Quality Control and Review. The Contractor shall provide all personnel and supervision to perform all functions under a single contract. The guaranteed minimum level of effort will be 92,368 hours in the base year. The contract will provide for four (4) additional option years. Contractor performance shall be at the Department of Justice, Washington, D.C. and New York City, New York. The contractor shall furnish a facility suitable for the Records Management Unit. The solicitation document will be available about January 10, 2001 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site http://www.eps.gov (hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available). The EPS site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the EPS site.
