Description

Contractor to provide all necessary vehicles, waste containers, compactor and labor necessary to provide Trash Removal Services for the VA Nebraska Western Iowa Health Care System, Omaha Division, 4101 Woolworth Avenue, Omaha, NE 68105. Scope of work includes delivery and removal of 40 cubic yard storage container of non-infectious waste and nonedible garbage on a twice-weekly basis, or as needed basis. Contractor to provide charging box or Compactor with a capacity of 2 cubic yards and a 40-yard storage container. All maintenance and repair of Compactor to be at contractor expense. Contractor to provide weight tickets for each haul from VA on a monthly basis. RFP No. 636-1-01 has been assigned to this solicitation and will be available approximately October 18, 2000. NAICS 56211 Garbage pick up services, formerly SIC Code No. 4212, Garbage and Refuse Collection with a size standard of $10.0 million has been assigned to this solicitation. Proposals will be for base plus two option years. The cost range is $25,000 to $100,000 for the term of the contract. This procurement is 100% total small business set aside.
