Description

The purpose of the amendment is to send this synopsis to the CBD. Provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary for the Publisher to produce weekly a newspaper to be known as The Sheppard Senator, a civilian enterprise newspaper published to provide news and command information to personnel of Sheppard Air Force Base, TX. This publication is subject to the requirements of Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 5120.4, Air Force Instruction 35-101, Chapter 5 and the regulations and instructions contained in the statement of work by references and to the conditions and agreements as contained herein. The contract, unless terminated sooner as stated in the solicitation shall have a basic period from 1 Jan 01 through 31 Dec 01. The contract may be extended by mutual agreement on either a one-year or two-year basis for a period not to exceed a total of six years. This first issue of The Sheppard Senator pursuant to this solicitation shall be published on 12 Jan 01. Solicitation issue date is 2 Oct 00. Award shall be made only to contractors who have registered with the Central Contractor Registration at: www.ccr2000.com/ or call 888-227-2423.
