Description

The U. S. Army Aviation & Missile Command proposes to acquire, on other than full and open competitive basis, Logistical Engineering and Technical Support (LETS) services for Longbow Fire Control Radar (FCR) at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Fort Hood Texas and Fort Rucker, Alabama for a period of 1 year. Effort is to secure guidance on the operation, maintenance, built in diagnostics, and manual troubleshooting for the Longbow FCR. The Government intends to utilize a Time and Material delivery order to contract DAAH23-99-G-0012. This is a sole source requirement to Longbow Limited Liability Company, 578 South Semoran Blvd., Orlando FL. Only LBLLC possesses the technical expertise and experience necessary to execute LETS support for the FCR. Under the Authority and Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source or a limited number of responsible sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation will be issued. Interested parties should identify themselves in writing to the Contracting Officers.
