Description

Notice of intent to extend contract N65236-97-D-3808, for Air Traffic Control (ATC), Ground Electronics Maintenance (GEM), and Meteorology (MET) Forecasting and Observation support services for U.S. Government aviation support facilities worldwide. Extension is required to provide support requirements for the Surveillance and Systems Engineering Department of the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, for the period 05 Jul 2001 through 05 Jan 2003. The extension is being conducted on a sole source basis with Scientific Research Corporation (SRC), Atlanta, GA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This sole source extension will be issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, as the current contractor is the only known source able to satisfy the agency's needs during this period of time, until a competitive contract takes effect.
