Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate an order under BOA N00019-00-G-0344 with Kaman Aerospace Corporation, Old Windsor Road, P.O. Box 2, Bloomfield, CT 06002-0002 to provide training and technical support services for SH-2G(E) Egyptian Air Force (EAF) Out-of-Production Aircraft. Specifically, this order will provide two pilot instructors, one sensor operator instructor, one logistic service representative, one training manager, and seven maintenance instructors for a period of one year to provide the Egyptian Air Force with training and technical support for the SH-2G(E) aircraft. Kaman Aerospace Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer of the United States Navy (USN) SH-2G and the EAF SH-2G(E) aircraft. Kaman Aerospace Corporation is the only source with the requisite technical data, knowledge and experience to perform this effort. See Note 22.
