Description

The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to Barber NB Company on other than full and open competitive basis for the purchase of Labor and materials to replace an existing FRM 4 100ma Fire Alarm Control Panel which shall include but not be limited to using the existing circuit entrance and battery equipment and the following: new solid state 100ma FRM 4 Fire Alarm console unit, disconnection and removal of existing "hard-wired" circuits, transfer of existing loop circuits to new solid state units, test, balance and verification of full function service of each circuit in accordance with the standard CHESDIV testing specifications, provide a new digitized system 3500 decoder and provide all technical documentation drawings on "AUTOCAD". Award will be made on the sole source basis to maintain compatibility with existing system. See Note(s) 22.
