Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and potential technical capability of small businesses to provide tree pruning, tree removal, fertilizing, cabling and bracing, and stump removal for the NIH main campus located in Bethesda, MD. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) 561730 (formerly Standard Industrical Classification (SIC) 0782)with a size standard of $5 million. This synopsis is for informtion and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Interested concerns are invited to submit tailored capability statements addressing organizational and staff experience and expertise in provide tree services. Responses should include information on past/current experience in providing the type of services identified above. Firms responding should indicate whether they are a socially or economically disadvantaged business firm, an 8(a) firm, a small business, and/or woman-owned business. The Government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside or 8(a) set aside based upon responses received. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation.
